It’s hard to explain the sheer pleasure that can come from a lack of sawdust, plaster dust and years of detritus. My two shop vacuums are clogged and choked yet again but the carpet tiles ( a mixture of new and relaid) feel positively luxurious.
I’ve deliberately refrained from installing support walls under the layout and resorted to narrow, wooden legs instead. The feeling of openness that comes from this is brilliant.
I’m even going to paint the legs, the old wooden cabinet and chests of drawers in a spanking new coat of gloss white to enhance the aura of luxury! I figured that as I spend so much time in Cuspidor, I might as well spruce it up a bit. Sadly there’s no room for a bar but I might just squeeze in a wine cooler………
Progress being made! Me thinks you need more track? Keep it going!
Track Aaaaaargh!!!
Good to see, Sir Barry. The video really helps us see your setting. Good progress. I salute your ambition.
My only ambition now is to stay alive long enough to get the scenery done, town built and rails hone with wheels!!!
